Le Flore en L'llie, Paris, France P283

Just behind Notre Dame as one crosses over to Isle St. Louis, the Brasserie Le Flore en L'Ilie is the first restaurant you see.  Since a major reason to cross to Isle St. Louis is to eat ice cream at Berthillion's, it should come as no surprise that Le Flore en L'Ilie's awning says:  "Glaces et Sorbets de la Maison Berthillion".

Sorry to disappoint you folks, but Le Flore en L'Ilie is not Berthillion.  (Berthillion's is a bit deeper on the island... on the main street of Isle St. Louis, near where the Rue de la Pont crosses the Seine).

However, Le Flore en L'Ilie is a normal Parisian Brasserie...very tiny space...very tiny tables...over crowded due to it's proximity to Notre Dame...but good food.  Nothing spectacular, but certainly worth a visit...and, yes...the ice cream and sorbets are from Berthillion's.
