| In the 7th arrondissment,
quite near the Eifel Tower is my favorite
street in Paris: rue Cler...an
upscale "market" street.
At the intersection of rue Cler and rue
de Grenelle dwells a friendly brasserie,
Le Roussillon. I've eaten there a
few times and though English is barely
spoken, communication is easy. The
food is simple but unexceptional and the
place is usually filled with happy
Parisians.
Perhaps
the broasted chicken is a bit stronger
than the American taste usually
encounters, but everything else is
fine...and the prices are good.
As with
nearly all Brasseries in Paris, service
is compris...no tip is required.
I usually
have Saumon Fumé and most brasseries, it
is truly unexceptional Norwegan
salmon...Le Roussillon is no
exception.
